Spinning screw help

Hey everyone I got my skis mounted about a month and a half ago, unfortunately as I went to check all the screws all of them were pretty loose to the point that I could do a full turn on them and one of the screws wouldn't stop spinning and clearly had some glue on it. I talked to the tech and he said to bring them back and he would fix it. I haven't had time to bring him the skis and since then the glue has dried up. What would you guys recommend? Should I remount the piece? or leave it as is?

Remove the screw. Fill the hole with a filler - wood plug/glue, steel wool/epoxy. Reinstall the screw.
