[Olympic Valley, Calif.] March 16, 2018 –
Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows has received 12 feet of snow so far this month, making it the 3rd biggest March in the last 20 years. March 1 ushered in a seven-foot storm and the current storm has dumped 5 feet on the resort so far as it continues to pile up, with more snow in the forecast for next week. With Miracle March in full swing, the resort is gearing up for two and a half more months of skiing and riding: Closing Day has been scheduled for May 28, Memorial Day, weather and conditions permitting. The High Camp Hot Tub, a spring skiing tradition, will open on March 31, weather and conditions permitting.

Starting April 9, with the Ikon Pass**, you can start carving your spring turns on next winter's season pass. Both pass options give you access to the same 26 iconic mountain destinations in North America, including Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows. Adult passes from $599.

Get your turns in by 10 a.m. Pretty sticky at Sqaw after that in my experience.
