Welcome to SkiTalk Kristoffer!

There is a seasonal resort thread you may be interested in if you haven't found it:

Where do you ski most? Do you stay in Sweden, or the rest of Europe... or travel further afield?
Thanks for the thread.

I would say 30% in Sweden and 65% in other places in Europe. Would like to explore more places in the US - and thats one of the reasons I found this community :)

Seems welcoming!

Personally, I'd also like to ski in Europe... I never have. Though I'd probably lean toward the Alps, rather than Sweden. :) (I'd love to visit Sweden otherwise - I've been to Denmark and Iceland and I'd love to visit the rest of Scandinavia.)

Have you skied in the US (or Canada)?

Vail now has a 40" base - both powder and man-made snow ...
... with 20" of fresh snow over five days last week/weekend, crews are now busy getting ready for the holiday season.
"Vail Mountain is now offering nearly 1200 acres for skiing and riding" per Eric Dunn, senior communications specialist for Vail and Beaver Creek.
Snowpack info has Beaver Creek at 100% of normal, and Vail Mountain at 96% of normal.
The avalanche danger for Northern Mtns/Steamboat Region and Central Mtns/Vail, Summit County are listed as "Moderate"; while Southern Mtns/northern San Juans is listed as "Low"

(sources : Vail Daily newspaper, and the Colorado Avalanche Information Center - btw, both have an online presence /updates) and a note to our svenska/dansk friends ... the flights over the top from Koberhävn/Copenhagen direct to Denver are nice !
