Roxy's first fire this end of season. Can't believe we hadn't any prior but the winter came quick and I didn't care to dig out a poorly preped wood pile

Can someone tell me how a dog that has all these legs can curl up into a ball this size?

Got a puppy about a month ago. Same breed as the one we lost last summer - field spaniel. He's growing fast.

The one on the left is "Charlie," a rescue cavalier mix we got from my late mother-in-law. About 10 years old.
