Say, is this open to only true ocean pics, or are inland salt water areas part of the deal? I've got lots of pictures of those type of waters.

Answering for KevinF: yes.
No, it was farther south than the Rocks. Just south of the Manasquan Inlet IIRC.
From the LI side?
Bellingham Bay with Mt. Constitution on Orcas Island in the background. That's a heron at the end of the point.
