Dang. I hope you complained about all that snow and no proper grooming. Surprise they even opened that up in such hazard conditions..

Had fun skiing, the bottom portion of the K-chute in the photo below was really wonderful to ski and reminded me very much of Ruby Bowl and Whistler in spring.

That one looks super sweet.

It's mostly unconsolidated crud.

Just because it's bad snow doesn't mean it can't be delightful to ski.

The good snow / good for you snow split line varies with individual skier. You have skied with us often enough to know. I am sure you have seen at gatherings where the front of a group can be smiling while the back of the group is dying.

More like marshmallow reinforced cotton candy. Much heavier than it looked.

I can't believe he called that crud. He hasn't been very ski deprived. That was actually really sweet, probably the sweetest run of the day, but I did notice that many of the other skiers didn't seem to enjoy it as much as me. I tried to help a young lady on part of it, told her pole turn, pole turn, don't stop and it will be wonderful but she didn't get it. I think Grump must have freaked them out a little talking about the crud. It was more like a warm bowl of oatmeal then crud or marshmallows )

A few randoms just to, um, confirm the previous posts. I was only there until Wednesday. Didn’t suck, although we missed Kachina opening. Thought it might be a bit heavy by then, anyhow.

That's fun - would certainly not turn it down - but your earlier pic from Jean's Glade spoke to me more for some reason.

We need to coin a new phrase to describe the stuff going on in this thread. Something that captures the sense of frolic and bon vivant exhibited by mature individuals after they're... vaccinated:yahoo:
Still ten days out from my first shot. But it's on the calendar!
