The water in that pond has been way down all summer. Timberline was getting resistance on pulling the water from the Blackwater and Idleman, which they have been doing for 40 years!!! Filled it late last week.

This time next week could be a little wet but you gotta get thru the bad to get to the goods many times in the WV Alpps..this is the Snow depth fcast for The Valley from the latest run of the Euro model by the end of TGiving weekend...GFS has about 7 or 8.....

What is the earliest ever opening of TL?....I don't recall them being open before TGiving day...

Earliest opening since at least 2000 and probably the earliest opening ever. During the Herz years, Timberline often did not open until late December. He always blamed the weather and never the snowmaking system.

60-70% of the terrain? so...12 or 14 runs? I am guessing that translates into 5 top to bottom runs, so maybe Thunderstruck in addition to the ones noted above?

They’ll have some mid-station runs open. But ya, not sure what that 10% is about.
