8 years ago today Super Storm Sandy davistated NJ and my shore house. The storm hit at the same time as high tide and the North East wind pushed the storm surge, putting a foot of sea water in every room of my shore house. Others were hurt a lot worse than I was, they lost their entire house and vehicles.
