This is a yearly organized ride put on by Bike the West I’ve been doing since 2015 & lands on the first Sunday after Labor Day. Missed last year but made it again this year, 72 miles around the lake & about 4200’ of climbing. I have been riding MTB a lot but except for a few miles to make sure the bike worked on Saturday this was my first road ride of the year...

I’ve done this ride, but the one they hold in June. How were the September crowds?

I think the June ride is more popular. I think this year was between 1500 and 2000 for the September ride.

Beautiful ride!
& A great day for it. I began at 7:30 AM and the temperature was close to freezing but it warmed up as soon as we hit the sun & never got too warm. We did have a pretty strong headwind for the second half of the ride
