Nice write up!!! I love Mammoth, hope to return this May/June- I skied the whole Mt end of March one yr. it snowed over FIVE FEET in 1 night! Yes it was amazing, I was very glad I had ski in ski out with covered parking.. Other years I skied end of May- 5yrs ago I skied July 22-27 (they stayed open until Aug 6 or 8th) The top is glorious and it was the best corn snow I've ever skied, natural beats Eastern man made IMO..
I Can't wait to return I'm hoping for a big snow year!
