Most ski resorts in this era now have webcams either set up for periodic static shots or live video streams. Such video installations require 120vac line power that is a reason all such cameras are set up at resort base or on mountain day lodge areas. However many modern lifts also have limited electrical power and communication lines along their lifts. There are also plenty of ways to do such from a larger battery plus dc to ac inverter. There has been much recent decade engineering for industrial grade products in this area especially for remote construction site surveillance to stop thefts that has brought costs down to be competitive. Such setups could easily store a ski day's worth of 1080p video on SDmem cards that could then daily be archived on a base computer. Just a couple products:

Videos could be set up with time synchronization such that a person skiing that slope that had synced their watch or smartphone to that time could check their watch when descending that might then get a copy of their run by ordering it from the archive. So a resort might set up such clips at say 4 minute intervals so a person could order the segment that began at 10:08am if they skied down at 10:09am. The resort could USPS mail send a cheap USB memory to customers for a fee. Thus resorts might actually make money off this helping defray costs. How fun to watch a live stream of the above after a dump of fresh new snow just after they open up Chair 10 as skiers launch over the top into powdery bliss?

My question herein is where at resorts you are familiar with near ready infrastructure lift lines, might an interesting webcam be set up both for Internet Live Streaming and as a source of video clips that you might consider purchasing? Note that could be up on a lift tower or nearby tree with a clean view. This does not necessarily mean just advanced slopes but all range of slopes and even say race courses. Of course most skiers almost never get to see themselves ski so my own expectation is this could be popular if presented well.

At Kirkwood, one of my pass resorts, the best location for advanced skiers would be up on the the second to last lift tower at 9880 feet on Chair 10 at The Wall if the video normal lens angle of view is pointed up between the lift line and center bowl to a bit looker's right of All The Way. Plenty of interesting different ways to ski down including launching off the top, bumps at the lift line from the penguin ramp exit most use, or below the top at center bowl that is often windblown powder.
