A big ole bag of Völkls arrived at the house. I guess I took too much time off recovering. back to the old grindstone.

I was able to get on the Deacon Masters 76 in the 176cm lenght back in Waterville Valley, I told my connection at Völkl if I lose my pass, I will be giving them a call. I am looking forward to skiing the new M6 Mantra in both the 177 and 84 to compare how the new construction changes between lengths. @DoryBreaux @ScotsSkier @Andy Mink @Alexzn @WadeHoliday your services might be needed.

Aw, nuts. Those Blaze 94s would have been good today!

EDIT: Oops, those are Mantras. They would have been good too!

I got on the M6 a couple weeks ago, it easily held an edge on Red Dog face at Squaw first thing in the morning. That says a lot.

*rubs hands together evilly* lets see how strong that M6 really is.
I'm thinking you will like that Deacon Master 76 in the 181 with the Marker Piston plate and X-Comp 16's.

My God, they are absolutely KILLING IT on their top sheet color designs. I am 110% jiving with Völkl aesthetics.
I think they are doing a very good job with graphics...based on demographics of collections. ;)

Regarding the Deacon Master 72 vs .76, it will come down to desired edge to edge quickness. Now, the 177 to 184 with the Mantra, yes, that will be a true test. Stay tuned.

Let me know your schedule/plan/tour dates for this and next week. I might be SV tomorrow morning.
