I had a bit of trouble getting the bike to crank today. Been sitting a week but still. Looks like a new battery could set me back $25.00 around the time it gets cold out

New drive belt on the Polaris Sportsman 500. The old one was only 13 years old with 3500 miles on it. Just a little past due.

Have you tried a trickle charger? They are cheaper than a new battery.

The kick starter is FREE.

I've got a trickle charger stashed somewhere at home. Neven know when I might be stuck at home without another vehicle to jump start the car or charge the bike. But, I don't plan on taking it with me on errands so a GOOD battery requires unscrewing the batter cover once instead of every time I need to connect it.

Random food like power bars just in case you're stuck in traffic for a long time.

Chains?
Just bought a few jugs.
I don't need no stink'n chains.
Yes food bars Andy, thanks.
Got the scraper under the seat year round. I carry with me just in case of predators or pedestrians. ;-)

I did end up dropping a new battery in the Roughhouse. It's been fantastic riding weather here lately too.

I refinished the summer wheels on Marcia’s BMW - 3 out of 4 had some pretty serious curb rash. Came out pretty good for a first try. After the paint cures, I will put rim savers on them in a meager attempt to protect them.

Honey-Do's of course!
Cut a plywood circle for a project and got first paint on it.
Swept the pine needles off the drive,
(played golf, but don't tell anybody)
Began hanging the outside Christmas decorations.

Ski season is coming, got to get this crap out of the way.

I picked up the oil and filters I'll need for our routine 6 month maintenance. Oil, filter, check coolant, fill washer with winter stuff, poke around to check other stuff like CV boots while the cars are up on the ramps. Both have been given a solid going over at the mechanic within the past 6 months so I'm not expecting any other issues.
