I had a thread on here where I was using Nuun or other orange energy drink as the sweetener in tea; the pseudo retching reception was pretty much as expected :D
Sweetened tea is just wrong.

Unless it's chai, and even then, not too sweet.

Are you talking about cold tea or hot tea? I find that hot tea is best when sweetened with honey. Cold tea can be sweetened with some simple syrup or maybe triple sec?

Skrewball -- peanut butter whiskey -- in a Birdie Bottle.

After learning this was a golfing thing, I got inspired and suggested someone invent a Birdie Bong. One of the guys said "Great! Then the staff will come out ... Excuse me, but you've been playing for 4 hours and, um, 27 minutes. Please move along to the 4th tee."

:roflmao:

Drambuie. Because this is one rare circumstance where too sweet is just right. And because I don't always have to pick the purist thing.

Anyone familiar with Brothers Bond? Was skiing with a guy on Sunday, and found out his son is the owner.

It's apparently a hot commodity these days. I tried it and thought it was pretty good but nothing that particularly stood out at the price point. YMMV.

I have to say I never really got Drambuie - and my skydive partner was a FIEND for rusty nails.

Which is weird for someone who is basically a bear when it comes to honey.
