See it, thanks. I was going to point out that sleeveless undershirt is the only way to go for those of us with the shoulder issues touched on above.

Those are beautiful!

But my experience with wool jerseys is that they are great for casual riding, but cannot keep up with moisture management when you turn up the wick.

Unless they are winter wear, and you've got a good Craft baselayer underneath.

Mine is split. I have some that are just as you describe, and others that are just as you describe with the added joyous fun of staining all the other laundry purple-pink, and a few that are almost cable-knit tough and work for going on thorn and branch bushwacks and aren't warm at all.

Like it or despise it. Does a bit better than Craft at managing higher than planned temps but tends to hold onto smells (far) longer than the Craft above.

One zippered horizontal pocket has been a thing forever.

Now they're doing one zippered vertical, just like running shirts and jackets. *shrug* I was given a Santini merino jersey with zero pockets. It's dumb but it's a thing.

Pockets lowered by my personal seamstress (Mrs. K) for my long torso and aging shoulders.
