Where do you see most performance plateaus occur?

Yes.
Regarding the carving process, "release" ends Centripetal redirection returning the skiers mass to straight line travel which will continue until the next Centripetal engagement.

And we have a kazillion bytes on this forum regarding which is the best and most efficient way to get from release to engage when the reality is that the best one is the one that lets you "GO THERE".
