Snow was either too icy, too mushy, or just right, in equal proportions. However all trails but one are open, there were two moguled areas in the Highlands (I absolutely suck at it, but I consider it a good sign), the crowd was agreeable, and lift lines were minimal to nothing so no complaints at all. I don't think it's been this good in a decade. Sad to see Outer Limits not open - if not this year then probably never. Kanjo's worked perfectly here. We go to WG about once every 3 years on average, but with this snow and low crowds I would go back tomorrow. Generic photo here:
PS: Yes, of course, the snow started pouring as soon as we put the skis in the car. I tell you, just watch my plans. The forecast is for very warm temps but they have a lot of snowpack so will be interesting to see how long they hang on.
