I guess I was fortunate that when I went glacier skiing I didn't run into any of that type of ice.

The surface for the World Cups was certainly injected at some point but it still shows all the ripples and holes (that have been filled with snow). That would be a bumpy ride for the athletes.

The guy skidding down like an hopeless beginner is actually an "Istruttore Nazionale" (National Instructor), you can tell from the jacket.
This is the very top level you can achieve in the Italian ski school.

Perhaps I missed it, but I didn't see the first run listed for tomorrow's GS. Peacock only lists the second run of both the GS and SL at 1:00PM EST for upcoming events. Are they going to show either of the first runs from Killington?

Thx! Hopefully they're free. I've already paid fpr Peacock and SASBL......The only way they could make it more difficult to be a fan would be to geoblock all skiing events...

Replays of both runs are on Outside+ and Peacock (probably not the free version), per everything I've seen.

The international feed keeps dropping out, so if you can see anything all, you're seeing more than is making it to Europe.
