I have nothing to go with as “facts” to make a pick.

My favorite is Alice Robinson. With zero intel. I do hear that shd is super fit.
My emotional pick is MS.
My hopeful breakthrough, reach the top 5 is Nina.
My never, never count her out pick is LGB.
My “I have no idea what we’ll see” pick is Vhlova.
Also subscribe to never discount the Italians. Forza!

And….I just have a hunch that this could be a great year for Gisin.

To sum it up….I have NO IDEA!!!! But I can’t wait. Soelden with fans. Almost like normal!

Perhaps not the best of draws for Robinson though at 15.? Really depends on how the track develops. Although being the Solden "ice-box" there is always the chance it gets faster after several racers down

In a complete sideshow ... I'm interested to see how Ledecka fares starting 31. Last year she was 20th starting 32, and it was the only GS she started all year. If I remember correctly, she was injured at the end of last year.

I was kinda thinking the same way with my picks except for Robinson. I still think she needs to prove herself with some consistency although she could do that tomorrow from #15! No doubt she has what it takes. I think she started from around 15 last year too. EDIT: Roninson started 5th last year, ended up 12th but some big mistakes.

High hopes for Gisin as well!
& I would never count out Worley at Soelden ogsmile

Ice box is actually terrain on completely left side of glacier (race track is on right side if looking from bottom up), so race course is not "ice box". Track is not icy so it's not really sure it will hold fine for higher numbers.
PS: Ice box is unofficially called stone box for ages now, as there's always millions of stones that fall on that track from wall on side of the track, so service guys really love trainings there. But it's almost never on sun, so other then whole bunch of stones on track, snow is always hard and good.

Hey everyone... just came across this game on the FIS site where we could have a race prediction league, so I went ahead and started a SkiTalk league. I thought it might be fun if a bunch of us joined it... You predict the winners of each race, as well as picking between two skiers head-to-head, and guessing the time difference between the top two spots. Seems like fun!

If you want to join, here's how to do it...

1) Go to the FIS Predictor Challenge: https://predictorchallenge.fis-ski.com/

2) Create an account, and enter your info. I put my username here as my "Nick name" which is a required field.

3) Join the "league"... the league to join is called "Ski Talk Predictor League", the password is 4UNI7

Hopefully that works for everyone. Let me know if it does or doesn't.

But then I’ll need to make serious choices ;)

Grippy but nor icy. Superhard, extremely nice prep. Westher great.
I’m looking forward to reigning JR World Champ Hanna Aronsson Elfman, born Dec 2002, so almost a 2003.

And don’t know if it’s been mentioned, but Sendy Wendy (Holdener) normally in Sökden even though a SL specialist, broke both her wrists in practice a few weeks ago. Have no intel on healing time egc.
