Storm Klomaus is also out for the season (at the least) after an injury suffered training in Soelden. For those who don't know Storm was a collegiate skier at DU and finally managed to work her way onto the US Ski Team. Says she will get back and with her determination and drive let's hope she does. Not only does she have the ability to race at the highest level, she has a perfect first name for a ski racer.

Don’t forget the Italian girls.
Heck no! Would luv to see Bassino start out like she did last year & Brignone may have worked some things out & bring the speed to the finish line. Goggia is also capable of laying one down in GS as well.

As Lara Gut-Behrami showed us at the end last season, it is not over for her which makes me think that Worley can also score.
Americans Moltzan & O’Brien can bring it too!
Vlhova has had plenty of time to rest & refocus after last year’s marathon. I have a feeling that she will start strong but begin to fade at some point.
Will Liensberger be a GS threat?
After injuries will Brunner find a way to Ski to her potential?
It is an Olympic year, it will be interesting to see how athletes will time their peak, season or Olympic goals.

Big question on women's side is how close Shiffy can get to her magic year.
The field for the girls is better so while she won't get to the same level, I am betting (and hoping) she returns to form and wins three globes (SL, GS, overall).
Obviously that GS globe will be very competitive. I think (again hoping) Shiffy beats Petra over the full season for the Big Globe.
Should be a great season.

I’m sticking with Shiffrin in first.
Shiffrin
Bassino
Gut-Berhrami

High hopes for O’Brien starting 11!
