So now all US Team skiers are referred to as “Stifel World Cup Athlete”?

Good thing a company like Fat Face or Tramp isn’t the sponsor.
Such pathetic selling, and people still can’t watch the sport on tv.

So now all US Team skiers are referred to as “Stifel World Cup Athlete”?

Funny how now that they have a major sponsor they still can't underwrite any athletes below the A Team squad...

Good thing a company like Fat Face or Tramp isn’t the sponsor.

Again, they could've gone for bigger fish in terms of sponsorship - though many of these sources aren't in the "protect winter" column and would look a bit suspicious (think: large energy companies).

Such pathetic selling, and people still can’t watch the sport on tv.

This brand sponsorship from Stifel is proving to be less of a goldmine than promised - and we still can't get quality access to view the events! The hodgepodge of streaming services is a discredit to the sport.

Any odds on how much longer the Board of Trustees keep SG around if there isn't a big financial and optical turnaround?

Oh I feel badly for Nina O'brien as she has been making good progress on the USST and is a strong WC tech racer. I still think more work needs to be done on race bindings to prevent these leg injuries. These women are in great shape and they should not be having such traumatic leg injuries, especially in tech events. Wishing Nina a speedy recovery!

Looked at her instagram, looks like she had the rod taken out in March, so maybe she was hardware free for a few months just now? Awful news, i would have thought the bones would be fully strong by now, such bad luck for her :(
my specialist told me that bones can remain weak for some times after a prolonged period on crutches. i was prescribed to use a supportive bandage for 4 months.
still i think that the rod is removed only once the bone is fully healed, and usually it doesn't require a very long time on crutches.
probably just bad luck and nothing to do with the previous injury.

Again I think more work needs to be done to prevent these ongoing leg injuries. Wishing both Nina and Ava speedy recoveries! We all know Mikaela Shiffrin is a gym rat during the off season with her work-outs and no doubt some of the conditioning drills she does has helped keep her injury free over the years. Meanwhile I think more work needs to be done on race bindings to prevent these injuries too. For example, some of these racers are on 20 plus DIN bindings which is kind of crazy but I am not exactly an expert on the G-forces these athletes are creating in their skiing.
