Yeah, that was really disappointing... did they show exactly what happened? I don't think she straddled, and I don't recall a good replay showing what happened.

IIRC… It was where the steep flattened out, very important transition. She had been attacking very good in the steep section and it looked like she might have misjudged the transition and ended up too much on the front and then thrown back on her tails, and then catapulted up.

What are the temps at night?
Tonight mid to low 20’s. So roughly -4 to -6C
Thurs night similar
Fri night should be below freezing, high 20’s. -2C
Sat night a little colder.

Yes basically a bit below freezing at night and right around freezing during the day right through Saturday night. Sunday looks like warmer with snow and rain showers. Will be an interesting SL.

To elaborate: there is rain due Friday afternoon, so some natural injection before things plummet overnight.

Saturday night will be cold, but the day will be above freezing - 3-4°C, possibly warmer.

Sunday looks.... interesting. It'll be warm. There will likely be rain in the afternoon, hopefully after the second run concludes.

And @AaronFM and I will be there to cover the madness.

So Rudi is doing the AM stations? Where can we listen?

Got a good look at this today. It's a nice viewing location, but I'm keeping my cheap seats on Lower Bunny in between runs. Tomorrow looks like it's going to be a beautiful day with clear skies and temps just north of freezing. Getting there early is key.

Just so all know, there is an article covering the whole weekend here:

@AaronFM and I are on-site, doing our thing. So post your fun stuff here but feel free to comment at the main article as well!

As noted in the big article: wind has forced the use of the reserve start for today's GS. The course is 7-8 gates shorter.

Missed Shiffy’s first GS run. Saw she is nearly +1.4. YouTube only had short clip.
Any reports on her first run and troubles? She will have to really rally for a podium.
