None of the above, so I guess I am a zero for weird ski equipment.

I'm giving myself .25 of a point (times 2 for trying and owning) the straight Marker Twincam Comp poles.

...so .5

Proud zero although again a rather geezerish focus. What's even from the 21st century - maybe Line bindings sneak in though don't think they ever really hit the market.

Edit..mybe that was just in Yurp. It was Salomon step in snowboard bindings that were smothered at launch.

Zero for this quiz, but I'll give myself +1 for owning Nordica Polaris boots, +1 for owning a pair of (non-Bifgoot) snowlerblades and another +1 for mounting them tele. And count me in on the 70's vintage Scott strapless grips. :micdrop:

1. I actually bought, but never skied, a pair of Fritzmeier Duos.

0, but I was in on the Scott strapless pole grips, and I had a pair of Dolomite boots that came up damn close to the knee. Spademan plate binding on my first pair of skis.

Wait, no Floskis? No Figln? No Claws? No Odysseys? No Phantom Crystal Ships? No Fels Trinetics? No dance skis? No reverse-reverse-reverse powder boats?

7 + 7 owned is 14, do I have the calculation right?

Elans / Geze Powerglide/ Nava/ Line / Kneissl / Salomon/ Marker

The Marker Twincam comp is the awesomest thumb-protective pole ever made, better for grass or plastic skiing than modern grips with race guards.
Ok, they are heavy, but so what.

14 weird
11 millenial
15 Original
11 Part deux
0 Womens (*sniff* Jeannie Thoren lectures didn't count)

Pretty sure @Doug Briggs can still beat me on these.

0 for me. I guess I'm not much of an early adapter. Or maybe I'm wise enough to know?

I have the Sensomatic Markers on a couple of pairs of skis. At first I thought they were shot because you cannot always manually place the heel pieces in the closed position without your actual boot in place.

I've owned 3 Siberian Husky's and they used to "hall my tush" all over the yard when I was a kid in the "Snowbelt of Upstate NewYork"
