I read part of the TGR thread. It was hilarious. Lot's of guys trying to be crabby and saying "just be awesome and then technique doesn't matter" but then getting sucked back into technical arguments.

... morphing into an argument about the merits of Jethro Tull.

Plenty of sarcasm and irony mixed in with the snark. Classic TGR thread.

In other news, we’re about as famous as Kyle Schwarber would have been a “genius” for bunting against the shift. Doing it with two strikes is another thing altogether.

Upon reflection, it says a lot about Schwarber that he couldn't just hit against the shift and had to bunt. Time to finally move him out of leadoff.

Suburbs can have suburbs? But the blue license plate disqualifies Hartford from the Upstates, just as the green does for Brattleboro or Rutland, at least one of which was mentioned in that thread as potentially qualifying for Upstate status.
