My older Blossoms appear to have the same heavily textured topsheet. It's good material. Wears well.

I want to ski these. Is the women's uno the same ski as the men's, just shorter and pinker?
The RC in a 176, is a pretty darn stout ski. Take a look at the N*1 SC

Um, you didn't answer my question.

Like @Ron, I'm thinking shorter - 164 in my case. All hypothetical, of course.

The Blossom site suggests - looking carefully at the icon gibberish - that the SC may be the RC minus the Titanal. The women's RC apparently does have the metal but may be different in other ways, since the dims are not identical.

The Head boxes (apologies to Blossom content ) came yesterday, teley, touring, and alpine boots are in the staging area. Clothing comes out an gets hung this week, and storage wax scraping is on the 'to-do' list. Yup... we're feel'in it. :)

You are correct. The No. 1 SC does not have a Titanal layer and the fiberglass layup is a bit different. The No. 1 Lady has a single layer of Titanal that is 0.04 mm thick versus the 0.06 mm thickness that is in the other skis in the Numero Uno collection.

I really like the idea of a carving ski with no metal! The SC sounds like a lot of fun....carving groomers and skiing bumps?
