Hello, what do you guys think is the best solution for a cross-threaded hole in a Fischer/tyrolia race plate? Unlike Marker plates, these plates have all-plastic holes... what I consider is a problem if you remove and change banding setups often...
What do you racing guys think? plastic or metal inserts? thanks...

I’ve seen people just use a plastic wall plug in thes plates to take up some space and give enough hold for the screw. While the newer Fischer plates with pre drilled holes are certainly more convenient in some ways, the previous black i drilled ones were a lot more versatile in being able to multi drill them as necessary. I have sused some with more holes than Swiss cheese and they still worked fine
