My wife skied the white boot like in the photo but hers had the front stiffening rib like the men's boot next to the white.

In another post asking about skiing with the foot bed in your boot I talked about a Dolomite foot bed that would conform to the bottom of your foot after skiing the boot for a few days. This is the foot bed I was talking about it is made of silicone and ground up cork with a leather top. Also a boot fitters kit of pads and instruction sheet.

I had those black and red, high Dolomites, the one with the little ribby thing on the cuff. Great buckle system. Horrible boots. I sold them for $35 and a bag of weed.

I once attended a week long course on dolomite----the (CaMg)CO3 mineral and rock.. The speaker threw in some similar photos from time to time, a geologist's attempt at humor.

I have a brand new -NOS - pair that Sven Coomer gave me. I will try to take pictuers and post. I skied Sintesi from 1975 to !977.Mine were red and yellow if I remember. Got them down in Hanover (lived in Stowe) Boot board was wood and shell molded around it. Great boot! As used by my hero Piero Gross.
