My first ski boots were Trappeurs, 1976. Blue plastic similar to the ones pictured but IIRC only 4 buckles and a bit higher. A lot of my skiing experience up until that point was rentals that were buckle leather boots...which by the time I got to use them skiing in the evening after work, they were water-logged and just collapsed when you tightened the buckles LOL. The Trappeurs were a revelation
