My old friend Scott Stillings passed yesterday.
Scott was the voice of northern Michigan skiing on the radio, ran the Nubs Nob ski school and was the manager at the Bahnhof.
An all around great human being who gave a lot to our sport.
Add in Peter Battiste (Volkl/Technica rep) and you could be sure something was going to happen.
I'm starting to feel like the last of a kind.
RIP.....

Condolences to the entire region and to you @Dakine
Was in my shop getting a boot fitting and looked around; there was a lot of gray hair at the boot stands. A lot of experience stored up.
We are all a link in the chain of humanity. Your friend Scott sounds like a very strong link. RIP

Took my daughter to Nubs Nob for her first series/years of ski lessons about 20 years ago, when Scott was the sports program director. She is NOT a jock, never has been, but she developed a big love for skiing that continues to this day. I thank Nubs Nob and Scott's team of instructors for much of that. RIP.
