Mt. Bachelor Rendezvan-anyone done it?

I actually just looked into rentals for a real RV. Very doable. I'll be looking for ways to extend the ski season and I've always wanted to check out Bachelor. I've done the drive from here to Bend and I'd love to do it again. I think I know someone I can bring with me.

I may try to take my truck camper there a week or so before event if Bachelor has better conditions than Tahoe in mid-April. I've walked past the RV area on previous trips to Bachelor and smelled a lot of weed being smoked, but it has been legal in OR for a while now.

But it's not legal on federal land, mt bachelor.

I want to get through The Gathering before I really start planning for this. There will definitely be a learning curve for those of us who don't camp, but after talking to @Andy Mink and @AKMINK I'm kinda getting excited.
