I think they are actually great skis. Impeccable, solid build quality, second to none. That said, they are very stiff, and me being somewhat of a scrawny scrap, I found them hard to drive into the turn shape(s) I wanted them to. What compounded it for me was that they have variable turn radii in their side cut which just seemed to frustrate me. I probably should have been more patient, but I’d rather just ski something that I enjoy. After all, I am single (for a reason), so if the first date doesn’t go well, there isn’t going to be a second.
Really, I think most skiers will find them to be a superb ski with a variety of exciting carving/turn characteristics. For me, we just didn’t get along on the hard groomers, which is what I was mostly hoping for. I did find that off piste in beat up bumps and crud they were a lot more fun to me (I prefer bumps and crud). Anyway, hope this answered your question.
