Yesterday I headed into the Mount Olympus Wilderness Area to climb a local peak. This photo features some of the higher elevation terrain that rises above the Cottonwood Canyons in the Wasatch Mountains, as seen from the south summit of Mt. Olympus.

There are scary bloody eye balls and then there are scarier bloody eye balls.
The scary eye balls are what you usually see on someone else. The scarier variety is usually found in the mirror you are looking into.

No, I think it's a Lebanon cedar and they grow that way.

Friends boat, pocket cruiser made in Costa Mesa, CA. Can't remember the manufacturer, but I'll find out. Little 15 footer, easy to trailer and rig up.

Way better to have friends with boats, that way they have to Break Out Another Thousand!
