Salomon women’s boots

Anyone else have issues with the tongue of the boots? My particular boots have 2 pieces of material seamed together so it’s bulky on the edge of the tongue — I’ve tried “thinning it out” and adding foam to the center of the tongue to balance it out ... I’m very close to cutting the tongue out — I end up with a very hard indent on my leg from the tongue and end up sore for a week. This happens just sitting with the boots on my feet- buckles are not too tight- and I don’t have large legs
Anyone have any suggestions?? I added a heel lift today and have good insoles with arch support

Worse comes to worse Bootdoc and Sidas make custom foam tongues. For an easier application check out the Intuition tongue, a much cheaper option.
