Saw this one in Salida, Colorado today.

Nobody else around here wants retro skis. I have too many. So, when I'm pretty sure I'm done with them I put them out back to look at while grilling or doing other stuff on the deck. I've got some others that I probably should move from the closets to the fence and retire..

It's just the sun faded blue lettering. Look at the logo on the tip.

Probably just before they added the Comp wording to the Mark.IV model. But the original Mark IV had blue letters if I remember correctly.

You can probably get old skis at the thrift stores for less money than fencing slats about now.

You'd be surprised - it's not as easy since all the SA stores stopped accepting skis.
