"Over the years, we have collected countless stories and experienced extraordinary moments,” says Todd Jones, co-founder of TGR. “This year’s annual film taps into these legendary tales - be it mythical storm cycles, heroic feats, or whispers of fantastical terrain.”

It’s hard to believe that Legend Has It is Kai Jones’ fifth TGR film. The 16-year-old freeskiing prodigy exploded onto the scene, and since his debut, he’s captivated global audiences with his supernatural skiing skills. Undoubtedly unique, Kai’s legendary story continues to unfold before our eyes, as he simultaneously calls his own personal legends his peers.

Anyone see this movie? Worth an hour drive? I gave up on Warren Miller Entertainment this year even though it was across town.

It's a good movie with good skiing - approx. the same start of season ski porn as all of the rest TGR's movies. If you're going to drive an hour to see it in a theater, it should be for the stoke of seeing it with a live audience and people being excited for the season. If that's not your thing, you can buy it for $10 on iTunes.

We saw it last week.. I would rate it average at best. Certainly not worth an hour drive.

Cliff hucking...yes straight lining sure. Average photography. Lots of sponsors product and promos. Not a lot of story line except for the Kai kid who got hurt .

Honestly, I expected better from TGR.

Yes it's fiction but still the best ski scene ever if you include the music and Telly Savales .... yes Kojak. Sorry Warren & TGR.... unlike ANY of the modern ski movies, I still get goosebumps watching this! This sequence helped inspire me to ski! :beercheer:
