I can't seem to find anything on the internet about these skis. I'd really appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thanks Rickski

I am thinking 72-75, bindings are late 80's and probably a warranty replacement for an earlier Tyrolia.

Thank you everybody for taking a look, still no confirmed date. They are 175 cm and that is the size on the ski edge. I just thought possibly some of those other numbers might have had something to do with the year! I have looked everywhere, somebody has to know the exact year!

By the way I was working up at Crystal in the early seventies but they were not my skis. You had to be on 210s to ski steep ice.

I'd suggest contacting K2 in case someone there can decipher the serial number for you.

Just had a quick look through "Fifty Years of Serious Fun" and at the back of the book is a fold out timeline. Nothing about the skis but Killy signed with K2 in 1974.

Looking further on I see K2 claims to have made the first twin tips with the Poacher in 1998.

So it’s a child’s ski or ballet?
No. The mid 70s was the "Graduated Length Method" of teaching skiing. The problem was that the newly initiated ski school grad stayed on those short skis and those old 175s didn't ski like today's 175s--think skis for slow speed timid intermediate.

"Short Ski Suck, Long Skis Truck" was a popular bumper sticker in ski country back in the day.

I think we're getting close. It just blows me away there's no info about this ski. By the way, Killy turned pro in 1972 and signed with K2 in 1973.

I'll be surprised if they sell for $150. Not a desirable ski, less desirable length, with a non period correct binding whish is dangerouns and not recommended to ski. Those heel pieces will crack and blow the springs out the back if anyine tries to ski them.
