Nice to see Copper *may* consider reopening for the public and the rail jam crowd. Hike to only. Would be super awesome if they would consider keeping Excelerator spinning for a couple more weeks and reopen to the public. It is still spinning for training and there is some snow up top. I'm sure the cost to do that would be crazy expensive though.

Lifts stopped yesterday. All over except the crying now unless you are a park rat. Cats are working on Copperopolis. You should check out Airie. Bldg looks good now that you can see all the windows.

Way to obliterate a 75-year-old record yesterday. Wow.



I got lucky driving to Boulder and back this afternoon. Looks like a repeat of yesterday is on the way.

I was driving East on i-70 and then North on 93 during the worst of it, or at least what seems like the worst of it. I wasn't aware that we had set a record.

Did you see what happened at Red rocks the night before? That must have been kind of frightening given the crowds and the volume of hail and water.

It looked like a fire nearby, but the smoke was from the Spring Creek fire all the way over by Parachute.

Yeah, lots of crazy hail storms. The Red Rocks storm last week was terrible. There's no space for everyone to take cover.

Yep, it's been awhile. In fact, he had the biggest time gap between the actual event and just receiving the award. Next longest recipient gap was 2020.

That sucks. We were down in Cañon City / Arkansas on Wed. It was a beautiful morning. Pretty far from the pic so we never saw anything that even resembled smoke. Weather got warm in a hurry but the water was perfect.
