So I do agree with @TahoeCharlie regarding conditions. I had a few lift conversations with random people and we talked about where's all the snow? Not that there weren't some nice pockets of good stuff to be found, I felt overall the conditions weren't the best. The high winds didn't help, and then the warmer temps hurt as well. Seemed that a bunch of trails were scraped down to really hard pack more than I would have thought.Snow conditions were really good.

Now I didn't get to Mt Rose, and maybe they had better overall conditions, but both Palisade resorts we on the crusty side Thursday and Friday.
But Terese and I both had a blast and can't wait to get back out there and explore more.
I found the travel conditions fun- but that's just me...
We skied them and yes, the more they were skied in. the better they got.I’d bet the north facing “Chutes” at my Rose were excellent on Fri. Opened a day late and a dollar short.
That's what I was thinking- I look like I might know how to ski (well at least get down the hill)That’s a lot of pics!!
and the ones of me actually look pretty good, so nicely done there.
might be the tequila kicking in....
You just want to hear a lot of “yeah, Jim baby”sThe secret to a good ski photo is to scream "yeah, Kevin baby" when you pass by the cameraman
From now on, I'm calling him "Kevin".You just want to hear a lot of “yeah, Jim baby”s
I think the new crowd is more distinctive. The old crowd dresses too much alike.Looks like a similar crowd.
Great shots @MatchstixHad a great time skiing a few funs with y'all last week! And thanks for indulging in my photo-taking ways, always fun to shoot some skiing.
Pared the pics down to the in focus and well timed ones, 1700 pics go fast. I hope I managed to catch everyone, I didn't get enough ski time in with the group to recognize all the jackets in the heat of the moment!
I think @Philpug got best air! And thanks for directing traffic too.
