I rented a pair one day. They were kind of fun in bumps in an extremely shock absorbing very damp sort of way. I describe them as feeling like skiing on a pair of wet noodles.
I just aquired a pair of yellow Molnar skis along with a pair of Lacroix and Atomic Red Sleds (image attached). I have been making Adirondack chairs from old skis and while most of the skis I have are very common these skis, and a couple of others, are uncommon/unusual and I'm wondering if they are worth anything, not necessariy dollars and cents but historically or for display purposes that would preclude me from cutting them up for chairs.
Any information would be helpful.
Truthfully, the rare stuff is really cool to save. If you find someone who cares they most likely have some common skis they would trade for unique skis. I appreciate the photos so please keep posting if find you odd brands or builds.
