May: Obsess over which ski pass(es) to buy
June: Shop for car rental and lodging deals because you have to plan early or get screwed with how f#%king expensive it is when you book just before the trip. Make the most important reservation (accommodations for the Gathering, of course)
July: Develop spreadsheet with multiple alternative itineraries. The variables become quite complicated
September: review spreadsheet, narrow down options, consult with SO, question my decisions, and finally complete all accommodation reservations by the end of the month.
