Central Oregon has many unique Geological formations. Smith Rock can be seen from my front yard & the Cascades from the back yard.

My favorite place is the John Day fossil beds.

Sure signs I am getting closer to home. Yesterday at 80 MPH' Sorry about that getting bck from a month in Iowa, a bit of a hurry. The Pintler mountains west of Butte.

Lookout Pass ski area, on the ID/MT boarder; pretty sure this is part of the new part that gets a lift for next season.
