As the Doctor finishes up his last season before retirement, let's look back to his first premiere class win (500cc).

Now that he's announced, has anyone seen the watch? I'm betting on Patek

I'll never forget spinning along on a bike ride in Italy, and suddenly realizing that we were riding right past Rossi's place, complete with that super-twisty track he has.

I was so focussed on the biking aspect of the trip, that it hadn't even registered that we'd be riding through his home stomping grounds.

Bonus!

This is great..

Thanks for that! Great way to kill a little time on a rainy Sunday morning, before digging in on the honey-do list.

I was lucky enough to experience Tavulia on a MotoGP race day when Rossi won. Just dumb, unplanned luck on a bike trip.

Let me tell you -- PARTY TIME!!!

And on to the last race in the long, long career of The Doctor.

Spoiler alert... he did make it to the finish line and that's a damn fine finish for a 42 y/o in a tough young person's sport.

The Val bit is at here in the unlikely case that a Ducati podium lockout causes anst. (1st time for Ducati in 18 years in GP.)
