Day 8. Last 3 were all park city, one free skiing and two race training. It went pretty well for being the first gates of the season. Looks like it might get softer soon!

Opening day for membership holders yesterday at Mount St Louis Moonstone north of Barrie Ontario. Even with almost no natural snow in sight, they have a ton of base with their incredible snowmaking equipment running full steam last weekend. Covid procedures ran smoothly and all the lifts now have RFID gates.

Good start to the season trying out my new Kendo 88s and Candide 2.0 skis.

Today was a Nigel Tufnel day. I did 11 runs on my 11th day of this season. (Day 1,793 on my endless season of 206 consecutive months)
So far I have skied at Mt. Sputnik, Mammoth, Heavenly, Northstar, Sierra at Tahoe, and Monitor Pass.

Day 5 at Crystal on Friday. Looking up towards Kelly's Gap from the B lot. Snow pack is getting thin but I'm 5 for 5 skiing in the sun this season.
