Olin orange crush. 140s, 180s, 190s. Of all my vintage skis, I ski the Comps the hardest. Just a great ski. I did not have very high expectations of the tribute ski so they were easy to exceed. Actually a nimble carver and a nice light-weight all round ski. I have not skied the Mark 4 but after the Comp it does not seem a very exciting proposition. I should try the bindings one day though.

Agree the Comp IV is a nice ski to spend some time on.(the Mk II VCE ain't bad either!)

picked up this sweet package from the original owner today( thanks to JOAL) said he bought it is '79 or '80. only remembers skiing them a 1/2 dozen times before moving and putting them in storage. they look to be in excellent condition. Joal will get the boots. I'll fix up and ski the Spademans.

Couldn't think of a worse binding for a bump ski than a toe ball plate binding. Rest of those make up for it though, very nice. I'd drill the Ballets and ski them..

Cool thing is I have run of 180cm versions in the center of the quiver

(not Shown are my 180cm MARK lV Comps in red)...
Note: My Orange MARK lV's say "OLIN lV" on the tail.

MARK 1 in 200cm. My go to skis were 205cm MARK 1's in the 1980s. These in the pic were my brothers, we purchased the 2 pairs at a ski shop closeout sale in the late 70's

I agree...
The last versions of the OLIN MARK series were becoming peculiar and Red Comp Vl's.. totally whack!
Yet, when a pair of them in180cm showed up at a decent price on eBay,
I couldn't look away- as they are pretty rare and a snap shot of the last blast of the breed.

Olin gloves I recently got in a bulk buy.

I sense a binding swap coming up probably off the Rossi as there is some blunt force trauma to the tips. Results from a couple of road trips, several pair went straight to the dumpster.
