Will a pair of these be included with every purchase of Peak Skis?!
Did I say Fuxi Socks rock?
It took me a second to get that. Will a pair of these be included with every purchase of Peak Skis?!
Makes sense but my liner are comfy just not warm in the toes when it's below 30*Socks are part of a system, think about a different liner like Intuition, or using a boot glove, boot heater or heated socks; etc.
see post #83, much better $$ @ REI + I got additional one day 20% off coupon deal.Anyone try these? Worth it? I need some warmer options
What size shoe do you wear? Please post back if they are warmsee post #83, much better $$ @ REI + I got additional one day 20% off coupon deal.
Fit a little funky, downsized medium to small.
Yet to try 'em, would have for today's fresh snow only had follow up appointment after coming around an hour from death and spending the last week in a hospital, immobilized!
Surgeon next door neighbor, put me back together more than once, did say I'm always a minute from something catastrophic
And so it goes
Post Hosp PCP appointment earlier today, she said I'm good to resume running and can ski too. Hopefully tomorrows follow up appointment with specialist goes well too, if so, and another 3" - 5" shot of snow comes Wednesday, @Willyum215, I'll try them, although it won't be cold enough to put to the test, will still be something
I have nothing further to add to this discussion (other than my beloved Farm To Feet Jacksons appear to be discontinued?) but this is a great reminder for the skeptical to see their friendly neighborhood boot fitter.running shoes size 8, street/dress shoes vary 7.5 - 8, ski boots 25.5 Bootfitters always bring me the 25/25.5's to try
Like I said, bootfitters in shops from VT to Whistler BC always seem to put me in a 25.5I have nothing further to add to this discussion (other than my beloved Farm To Feet Jacksons appear to be discontinued?) but this is a great reminder for the skeptical to see their friendly neighborhood boot fitter.
Whoa, one finger shell fit, nah, I'm thinking you must have a Dixon Ticonderoga Pencil shell fit Might I ask what 23.5 ski boot are you stiffing your foot in?I have exactly the same shoe size. 7.5 dress, 8 running, any smaller and I'd be bashing my toes. And am in a downsized 23.5 to have any semblance of heel hold. Same length, different feet, wildly different results.
Correct, the ski boot industry's general idea of a wide boot would be a WWll V2 rocket Try stuffing a hammer head shark into the V2's nosecone, No, that would not work Would work if a mako shark Blue shark needs a torpedo Hammerhead needs Bezos Blue Orgin rocket My foot is the hammerheadBecause as it turns out, people's bodies are different!
Yup, highlighting that both are right and 2D size charts are meaningless. Should show this to everyone who comes here going “I wear a size 9 shoe which means I definitely need a 28”Like I said, bootfitters in shops from VT to Whistler BC always seem to put me in a 25.5
Raptor 120. And yes, a one [of my very small] fingerWhoa, one finger shell fit, nah, I'm thinking you must have a Dixon Ticonderoga Pencil shell fit Might I ask what 23.5 ski boot are you stiffing your foot in?
I received a pair of these (the green ones) for Christmas. A bit thicker than I like, but okay.Without going down the thickness rabbit hole, can I ask if anybody knows of a quality, medium to thick ski sock that is of uniform thickness throughout?
Hate the cutouts/padded areas/etc.
My toes get cold on 30* or below days. Using merino wool calf height socks. I saw alpaca sock ads, any fans or thicker ones?
