Beautiful! I just missed this opportunity.
Glenn you talents never cease to amaze us. Now correct me if I am wrong but based on the positioning of your hands it looks like you are play ChopinSupporting the local Warren Miller performing arts center and the performing arts was the theme of this afternoon.
A socially distanced concert was rather surreal and a sensory overload with the glistening snow, your choice of snow shoes or cross country ski‘s while listening via Bluetooth head sets handed out to listen to the classical pieces performed from a 1900s era Steinway.

But they seem to not be running the two base cams this season (on Swifty and Ramcharger). Are they out of commission (thought they were working this summer) or has BS turned them off so people can't either check the lift lines or whether folks are adhering to Covid protocols?

Lucky you moved. Hunter closed today and tomorrow due to covid.@Jersey Skier - similar but the scenery
Is just slightly different.
@skidrew - sorry to hear you won’t be joining us, it’s early yet, keep the faith and yes base cams are down for obvious reasons this year.
Not sure what’s up with the Andesite snow cams and reports, Both posted 5” but can tell you lone peak side was knee deep with drifts to thigh. Mountain is starting to shape up.
Our base area view has disappeared as well.A number of ski areas are supposedly not running their base area cams this season. My take is that images of base area congestion are best avoided during the pandemic.
Well, I'm happy to report the lifties are doing it right. Small altercation in the lift line two days ago when a guest would not cover up his nose with his mask sighting a "medical condition ". The lift attendant promptly shamed him in front of the line and told him this is private property and the policies are listed from the billboard entering the canyon to the entrance, all the way to the lift, not sure how you missed every one of them ?
supervisor quickly resolved the issue with, " we are going to have to ask you to leave the premises." escorted off, well handled.
Mountain is starting to shape up.
Even at low tide there are still lots of fun to be had at Big Sky. Be prepared for some base damage.@BS Slarver, I've gotten some reports that it's very low tide there right now? Utah is
LOL have plenty of that already! I’ve e been holding out on having my husband tune mine until we get more snow. He’s been taking lots of burrs our out of edges this season.Even at low tide there are still lots of fun to be had at Big Sky. Be prepared for some base damage.
