I think you need more lights!
That was my regular commuting bike and I used to commute in the darkness on mostly quiet roads but there was a 2 mile section of riding on a 55mph hard shoulder. By having lots of lights it would confuse drivers as to what TF I was and they would slow down, maybe only to 55mph ... ogsmile

The Nevada Day Parade is tomorrow in Carson City. It's a big deal, at least in the northern part of the state. They had a party going on tonight with a ton of cool, lit bikes and costumes.

I like this photo of my sister riding in the canyon around Lake Berryessa. She rarely agrees to ride with me, but I was recovering from foot surgery, so it was a special occasion. One of my favorite rides with one of my favorite people!

On this Memorial Day weekend, let's commemorate the sacking of Fort York during the War of 1812 by the newly minted United States of America. We'd get you back by burning the Whitehouse in 1814. :) in memory of all..

Funny I was just up at Bladensburg yesterday.

Oh, and you forgot to complete the connection to Zebulon Pike - for whom both Pike's Peak and a Star Trek captain were named :)
