That wiggle has been pretty much erased. I think I did trip over it on the first no vis day. I was traversing around the top of that slope to come down around the corner.
The Mammoth wiggle has been reset. This incarnation is tough... I saw a snowboarder do the whole thing, but I had to pop out at the first turn.

I saw the one at Copper, over on Hallelujah, and went over towards it. A group of the same skiers was doing it over and over,
and when I got close enough, I could see most of them (at that time?) had skier cross race skis on, maybe almost all of them.
They knew one another. I thought they must be some skier cross team, practicing. Could this have been so?

The course seemed too long turning for my slalom skis, and maybe too short/tight turning for my GS skis.
It looked just right for purposed skier cross skis - FIS SX skis? Dunno.
A number of Stockli SX FIS skis were there, as well as other skier cross race brands.

Anyone know anything about this?
Is it common for folks to be taking these wiggle runs on skier cross skis?

I still have not skied an official wiggle, but Taos did have several "wiggle like" lines through the trees, my favorite was Tell Trees.

Some photos of the current Mammoth wiggle near the top of Chair 1.

I saw a person on skis go through the wiggle successfully -- in fact, making it look easy.
Way too deep for me ... I should have worked on it when the wiggle was still a baby.

I took this one a few days ago in wolverine bowl at Alpine Meadows. More like a snake than a wiggle…

Noticed some wiggles on the other end of the spectrum at Mammoth (sorry, no pics): "micro" wiggle?
2-4' between turns, generally on relatively low angles. There was a really good one directly under chair two. Possible created by snowblades??

One guy carrying an umbrella, lol, was still skiing this wiggle at Mammoth on August 2 !
He had to walk over 30 ft of dirt to get to the start. It’s under and just right of chair 23 as you ride up.
