Kinda got lost in all the hoopla about the great battle of Alberta.. Two teams fighting it out in the hockiest of hockey country... Meanwhile, there's also the great battle of Florida, the unhockiest of the NHL :roflmao:And, Florida's probably favored in a Florida vs Alberta finals..

It's only period one of game one, but the Blues look like they're giving some trouble to the Avs... :geek:
Ya, definitely everyone but Avs fans is pulling for St Louis.. Avs are damned GOOD! Everyone else wants to see them upset.

Nerve wracking game for this Avs fan. Had to work late last night, and first thing I see on TVwhen I get home is BS late game call on Toews and a Blues' score. Couldn't stay up for the OT win on a goal from perhaps the player voted least likely to score after Kemper/Francour.

Rangers-Canes game is frenetic.

Waiting for the Rangers to learn not to make that extra pass entering offensive zone. Raanta the goalie is keeping Carolina in it

The way Raanta's playing he probably stays between the pipes even if Anderson becomes available.. at least as long as we keep winning.

Just crazy.
Rangers could do nothing. Then after scoring it’s taken away.

Flames definitely got screwed out of a goal and momentum.. But, Oilers were the better team.

We'd be doing better with the Zamboni driver in goal. Power play awful both ways. Time to jump ship to the Rangers..

Rangers!!
Can’t believe it. Shesterkin played well except his boneheaded behind the net fiasco.
Uugh, now Tampa. Maybe after 9 days they’d rather go boating.

Rangers GM Chris Dury has really solidified the Rangers for a playoff run with his late additions - Copp, Motte, Vetrano, Braun. Goodrow was also a major addition for the Rangers before the season started as a guy who can contribute some scoring and do a boatload of dirty work. The 3 first round picks are starting to play well together (Lafreniere, Kakko, Chytil) and this has added an important dimension to the Rangers. The Rangers have benefitted from playing backup goalies and will now face one of the pest goalies in the NHL. It should be a fun series.

Well, the Avs went for two after their touchdown, and the Oilers missed the extra point after theirs. So, 8-6.
Fun, and exhausting, to watch, but not really playoff hockey. Neither team is likely to fair well against either the Ranger's goalie or the Bolts goalie if they go in thinking its that easy to score all the time.
