Amarones are tasty, only have had a few and this in the last year. Co-worker noted them. Sadly they're pricey so reserved for special occasions or whim buy.
All I can find is that it is from Portugal.It's Monday night and it is leftover chicken parmesan but there is one high light. This bottle of red.

Even though it wasn't five years old it sure was good.^the fact that it's done by Aveleda instantly makes me think of their Tinto Roriz Charamba - which a would be front and center example of my 'wait another 5 years from purchase' principle outlined above.
